American Idol results show 2/28

well, 3 for 4 this week, i still think Kady Malloy should have gone home instead of Alaina Whittaker. both were kind bad, but Kady really stunk it up.

American Idol - 70's week- who goes home tonite?

For the guys--

Jason Yeager-- his rendition of a doobie brothers classic was unbearable
Robbie Carrico-- i had enough of this wig-wearing poser
i was disapointed by my 2 faves- Michael Johns sucked and Jason Castro was pretty weak

for the girls--

Kady Malloy-- should never have done a "Heart" song after that first girl rocked it
Alexandreah Lushington-- way too boring. the only song i had to speed through
all in all i thought the first 5 did well, downhill after that....i would have said Amanda Overmeyer but VFTW has her up now, so she may a chance
we will see....

American Idol Predictions- who is going home tonite!

i am betting on Chikezie ((totally boring) and Colton Berry ("suspicious minds" great song, not so great rendition, and i find him hard to look at). my first instinct was to go with Danny Noriega ("fabulous") but "vote for the worst" has people voting for him this week

the girls

Joanne Borgella (dull, forgettable) and Kady Malloy (not great- not even sure if she is the one i am thinking of, there are like 3 blondes that look the same)

Ryan Newman wins the Daytona 500!!!!!! Sweet Victory!

wow! first the Giants win the Superbowl and now this!!! there is big excitement in the Field house tonite as we all celebrated Ryan's big win! and of course, ryan's number one fan, Bob Field, is flying the flag proudly! he says he will keep it up for 2 weeks--- this is unbelievable!

Ice Storm '08

well, so far for this storm, the kids have been dismissed early (tues), had off (wed) and now are on delayed opening (thurs) all for 2 inches of snow and alot of ice. it will make for awesome sledding though-- cant wait! i got out early this morning and took some pictures- joshua took some with his camera too and they are all here-

LOST - best show on tv

absolutely my favorite show ever! the season 4 opener "the beginning of the end" was very exciting but left way too many unanswered questions (as usual!)-- and didnt answer any old ones:
who was in the coffin?
who are the other 3 survivors that make up the 'oceanic 6'?
is charlie really dead? we know hurley is nuts, but the other 'nut' saw him too...
